Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender, Andrei Vasilevskiy, has been nominated for the 2017-18 Vezina trophy awarded each season to the NHL's best goaltender. During the 2017-18 season, Vasilevskiy broke several Tampa Bay Lightning franchise records, compiling a league leading 44 wins and 8 shutouts while maintaining a .920 save percentage in 64 games.

For the last 5 years, Vasilevskiy has been working daily with the Lightning's Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Owner, Frantz Jean. Vasilevskiy is the second Tampa Bay Goalie and third Vezina trophy nomination since Frantz Jean joined the Lightning in 2010. Ben Bishop was nominated in 2013-14 and in 2015-16.
