Thornton wins Gouverneurs AAA Tournament
Congrats to Ben Thornton from Woodstock NB who was stellar last week in nets for the Fredericton VREDS, helping them win the Governeurs AAA Tournament in Montreal.
Thornton had a 4-0 shutout in the finals of the tournament and was named to the Tournament All-Star team.
Ben as been a Pro Tek student for many years now and we are happy to see his hard work and dedication paying off.
Well done Ben!!
Norfolk Admirals win 28 games in a row!
Congratulations to the American Hockey League Norfolk Admirals for ending the 2011-2012 season with 28th win in a row. They Admirals and their two goaltenders, Dustin Tokarski and Jaroslav Janus, have not lost a game since February 5th!
Tokarski finished the AHL season with a league leading 32 wins and tied for 2nd place for number of shutouts (5). Janus finished with 23 wins and only 8 loses. Both goalies broke the Admirals franchise record for consecutive wins by a goaltender.
The Norfolk Admirals are the farm team of the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning. Lightning Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Owner and operator, Frantz Jean, as been working with both goalies for the past two seasons.

Scott Cyr wins 2nd Senior Championship - March 26th, 2012
Congratulation to Pro Tek instructor, Scott Cyr, who won last weekend his second championship in 3 years in the New Brunswick Senior Hockey League.
Scott, a Goaltender with the Grand Falls Cataractes, had a 2.99 GAA in the playoffs and clinch the championship in a 5 games series that the Cataractes won 4 to 1. He also won the trophy for the Best Goaltender for the regular season.
Scott, 22, spends a lot of time working with minor hockey Goaltenders of New Brunswick North-West area and also has been a Pro Tek student and instructor for several years.
Congratulation Scott for a job well done!!!
Roman Will named to the QMJHL first team All-Star
More honnors for Moncton Wildcatst Goaltender, Roman Will. Will as been selected as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League first team All-Star.
In 63 games this season, Will registered 29 wins, 25 Loses, 3 overtime loses and 4 shootout loses with a .913 save % and a 2.77 GAA.
Roman Works daily with Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Head Instructor, Marc Champagne, and his assistant and Pro Tek Instructor, Matt Cooling.

Will Among Q's Best
Pro Tek Goaltending would like to congratulate Moncton Wildcats Goaltender, Roman Will, for finishing 2nd in Save % in the QMJHL.
Will finished the 2011-2012 season with a .913 Save %, 1 point behind Louis Domingue of the Quebec Ramparts. It is important to underline that Will played 3,591.55 min (63 games) vs Domingue's 2,161.58 min (39 games).
Roman works daily with Moncton Wildcats Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Head Goaltending Instructor, Marc Champagne and his assistant and Pro Tek Instructor Matt Cooling.
