Thornton and Querry are Bantam AAA Provincial Champs!
Congratulations to Pro Tek Goaltenders Ben Thornton and Sam Querrry, both from New Brunswick, who won the NB Bantam AAA provincial Championship last weekend.
Both Goalies have benefited from attending and working hard at the Pro Tek Goaltending summer camps. Both were playing this season with the Bantam AAA North West Bulls.
Congrats to both of them and Ben`s Father, Greg Thornton, for is continuing work during the season with both kids!
Helenius named player of the week in AHL
The American Hockey League announced today that Syracuse Crunch goaltender Riku Helenius has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 17, 2013.
Helenius backstopped the Crunch to three wins this week, recording two shutouts in the process. Over the three games this week, Helenius stopped 80 of 81 shots faced for an impressive save percentage of .987.
Helenius works with Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Owner, Frantz Jean.
Nagle named Goalie of the Week in the ECHL
Pat Nagle of the Florida Everblades is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
The 25-year-old was 3-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage in three appearances against Toledo last week.

Under contract to the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League, Nagle has seen action in 55 career regular-season games with Florida where he is 28-19-4 with one shutout, a 3.01 goals-against average and a save percentage of .902. Last season, in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Everblades he was 4-1 with two shutouts, a 1.42 goals-against average and a save percentage of .941.
Nagle works weekly with Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Goaltending Owner, Frantz Jean.

Thornton and Belanger Selected to Bantam AAA All-Star Game
Congratulation to long time Pro Tek Goaltenders Ben Thornton and Philippe Bélanger who have been selected to participate in the NB Bantam AAA All-Star Game.
Thornton, a resident of Woodstock NB and Bélanger, a resident of Dieppe NB both have there hard work and high level of play rewarded through this selection.
Both have been Pro Tek Goaltenders for years, participating in numerous camps and clinics offered by Pro Tek. Through these camps, they have worked with Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Goaltending Owner, Frantz Jean.
Congratulations guys! Keep up your hard work. We are very proud of you!
Gauvreau Cracks NL U14 Line-up
Congratulations to Zachary Gauvreau who cracked the U14 line-up of team Newfoundland and Labrad

This select team will be headed to Moncton, NB, in early October for the Atlantic Challenge Cup.
Part of Zachary development plan as been working on his game with Pro Tek Goaltending Owner and Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltending Coach, Frantz Jean, through the schools camps in Newfoundland.
