Pro Tek Goaltending is proud to announce the early success of some of our goaltenders that participated in our summer camps through out the province of Quebec, New Brunswick and New Foundland and Labrador.

Luke House Drafted by Charlottetown in the QMJHL
Congratulations to Luke House, from Newfoundland, who was drafted in the 3rd round this past weekend by the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Luke has been a Pro Tek Goaltender for a few years now and works out of our camps and clinics in Newfoundland...
A hard worker and driven to improve, Luke will report to the Islanders in mid August.
Congrats Luke!!!!
Ben Bishop nominated for the NHL's Vezina Trophy
Semyon Varlamov of the Colorado Avalanche, Ben Bishop of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins, were announced as finalist for the NHL's Vezina trophy for the 2013-14 season. The winner will be honoured June 24 at the league's awards banquet.

Bishop won a club-record 37 games for Tampa Bay and also set a franchise mark with a .924 save percentage. He finished tied for fourth overall in shutouts (five) and seventh with a 2.23 goals-against average in being named a Vezina Trophy finalist for the first time.
Bishop works daily with Tampa Bay Lightning Goaltending Coach and Pro Tek Goaltending owner, Frantz Jean.

Lindback named NHL`s first star of the week
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Anders Lindback was named the NHL's first star of the week (April 7th to 13th, 2014) after taking over for injured starter Ben Bishop.

Lindback posted a 3-0-0 record with a 0.67 goals-against average, .975 save percentage and one shutout to help the Lightning clinch home-ice advantage in their first-round playoff series against the Montreal Canadiens.
